Medicinal Properties:
Amla (Amlaki) is a popular element of Ayurvedic formulations. In Ayurveda Amalaki (Amla) is considered as Rasayana which means herb with rejuvenating properties or anti aging . Researches on Amla validate just about all of its extremely praised properties. It is a potent, immunomodulatory, antioxidant and antistress agent. Also It is used in traditional skin care formulations and hair.

Amla is also well known as Indian Gooseberry. It has one of the richest concentrations of natural Vitamin C of every edible plants on this planet. The fruit juice has almost 20 times as much vitamin C as orange juice. Every 100 gm fresh Amalaki fruit provides 470-680 mg of Vitamin C. Apart from this Amla fruit contains fiber, calcium, Phosphorous ( both very useful for strong bones and growth of bones), iron, carotene, protein, fat, minerals, carbohydrate, riboflavin, and thiamine.

Uses: The roots are bitter, sweet, emollient, cooling, nervine, tonic, constipating, opthalimic, anobyne, aphrodisiac. Roots are used externally to treat stiffness in the joints. The rhizome is a soothing tonic that acts mainly on the circulatory, digestive and respiratory system. In Ayurveda, Shatavari is traditionally used by women for overall health and vitality, to promote lactation, and as an aphrodisiac. In Sanskrit, the word Shatavari means "She who possesses 100 husbands".

The Science of Shatavari
Recent research supports the traditional classification of Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) as a Rasayana, a dietary supplement or practice promoting mental and physical health, as well as providing a defense against challenging environmental factors. Shatavari has the general ability to promote normal physical functions and counteract the adverse effects of stress. P. tuberosa is an important and potential medicinal plant in traditional and folklore systems. In Ayurveda system the flowers are used as cooling agent and as aphrodisiac, while roots act as a demulcent and refrigerant in fevers. The root tuber is sweet, oily, cooling, tonic, and effectively used in aphrodisiac, galacatagogue and diuretic. It is also used to cure leprosy, diseases of blood and urinary discharges. It is employed as an emetic, tonic and also believed to be a lactagogue (Kirtikar and Basu, 1933).

In folk medicine the root tuber is applied for blood purification and to improve sperm production. The shade dried root powder controls overgrowth in stomach. The consumption of raw root for one month leads to sterilization in women (Venkata Ratnam, 2006).

Yashti-madhuka
lycyrrhiza glabra is a perennial herb in the subtropical and warm temperate regions. None of the liquorice species occurs in India in the wild. But its use has been reported for a long time in traditional literature.

The principal constituent of licorice is glycyrrhizin. Licorice is used for the treatment of asthma, acute and chronic bronchitis and chronic cough. It modulates the immune system and has shown remarkable immuno-stimulant properties. It has an antioxidant activity. It is a mild anti-inflammatory for arthritis and rheumatism and is used to treat gastric, duodenal and esophageal ulceration or inflammation, heartburn and mouth ulcers. The plant contains phytoestrogens in the form of isoflavones such as formononetin; glabrone, neoliquiritin and hispaglabridin A & B.

It alleviates irritable conditions of the mucus membrane, and strengthens the immune system and provides resistance in recurring infections.

Lepidium Sativum
Botanical Name : Lepidium Sativum
Family Name : Cruciferae
Common Name : Garden Cress, Pepper Grass,
Garden Pepper Cress, Pepper Wort.
Uses : Seeds are bitter, thermogenic, depurative, galactagogue, emmenagogue, tonic, aphrodisiac, ophthalmic and diuretic. It is useful in leprosy, skin diseases, dysentery, diarrhea, dyspepsia, eye diseases, leucorrhoea, scurvy, asthma, cough, cold and seminal weakness.

Roots are bitter and acrid. It is useful in secondary syphilis and tenesmus.

Leaves are stimulant, diuretic and antibacterial. It is useful in scurvy and hepatopathy. Seeds are abortifacient, they have been applied as a poultice to pains and hurts and have also been used as an aperient. The seed yields up to 58% of edible oil that can also be used for lighting.

Ferrosa ferric oxide MANDOR BHASAM
MANDOR effects  liver and stomach, cures their diseases. Being easily assimilated (somya prakriti) by  body, it is very useful for growing kids. It increases red blood cell count thus cures anemia and other complications caused by anemia.
